Derek Melleby
CCO Associate Derek Melleby serves as Director of Calling & Career Development at Lancaster Bible College.
Previously, Derek was Vice President for Academic Affairs of the OneLife Institute, an organization that provides gap year programs for students who want to grow in their faith, experience genuine community, serve others, and travel while earning 30 credits for college. Before OneLife, he was on staff at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, the CCO, and the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding. Derek is a graduate of Bloomsburg University, Geneva College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Derek is also the coauthor of Learning for the Love of God: A Student's Guide to Academic Faithfulness (Brazos Press) and the author of Make College Count: A Faithful Guide to Life and Learning (Baker Books).
Derek lives in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Heidi, and three sons.
