Chip Herrmann
I left CCO in 1981 to sell radio advertising for a small Christian station in Pittsburgh. After 3 years there, I spent 21 years with the CBS Radio Group in Pittsburgh (KDKA-AM, Y-108, B-94, Star 100.7). For the past 3 1/2 years I have been with the Clear Channel Radio Group (WDVE, 3WS, FM News/Talk 104.7, The X at 105.9, Kiss-FM 96.1, FOX Sports Radio 970), plus selling for the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, Pitt Football, and Pitt Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams.
I’ve been married to Michale for almost 28 years. We have 2 children, Julia (26) who is married and expecting her first child in May and working in Chicago, and Bridget (24) who is working in NYC. We live in Rosslyn Farms [outside of Pittsburgh] near Carlynton High School and attend South Hills Assembly of God in Bethel Park. Michale is the Public Relations Director for the Carlynton School District.
