(Pittsburgh) February 8, 2008 — The CCO will host more than 2,500 college students at the annual Jubilee Conference during the weekend of February 15-17, 2008 at the Westin Hotel and Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh.

Key presenters for Jubilee 2008 include several renowned speakers and authors and one Superbowl-winning NFL coach.

The Saturday evening keynote session will feature respected Christian author and commentator Chuck Colson, who was among the first to be indicted in the wake of the Watergate scandal during Richard Nixon’s presidency and who later founded Prison Fellowship Ministries.

Other speakers include Michael Gerson, a former top aide and speechwriter for President George W. Bush, author of the book Heroic Conservatism, and the current Roger Hertog Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, and David Kinnaman, President of The Barna Group and author of the best-selling book, unChristian: What a New Generation Really Thinks About Christianity. The Sunday morning session, open to the public free of charge, will be led by Donald Miller, author of several books, including his popular spiritual memoir, Blue Like Jazz.

Indianapolis Colts coach and former Pittsburgh Steeler Tony Dungy will address the conference throughout the weekend via video.

Breakout sessions offered throughout the weekend will address a Christian perspective on topics as diverse as business, medicine, literature, sports, politics, law, art and journalism.

The mission of the CCO is to transform college students to transform the world. Jubilee is the CCO’s flagship conference which gathers thousands of college students each year to listen to professionals explain how their Christian faith informs the way they live their lives.
