(Pittsburgh) April 23, 2008 — For the sixth year in a row, the CCO has been named one of the Best Christian Places to Work by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute. The announcement was made on April 23rd at the Christian Leadership Alliance Conference in Dallas, Texas.
CCO staff took time in the fall of 2007 to fill out a lengthy online survey, which gathers the data needed to help BCWI make their decision about which organizations to recognize. The survey results also provide valuable feedback which the CCO’s leadership spends the next year studying and addressing.
CCO staff people love working here, and that has helped boost recruiting efforts over the past six years. But it’s about more than being a great place to work.
“This recognition is certainly a good thing, but the very best part is the opportunity we have to receive your honest feedback,” says CCO President and CEO, Dan Dupee. “We want to be more than a fun place to work. Ultimately, we want to continue to strive toward excellence in all things for the sake of Jesus Christ, who is using us in His work of transforming college students to transform the world.”
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life.
