Katy Turman named Advisor of the Year
Penn State Abington named CCO staff member Katy Turman the 2008 “Advisor of the Year” for her work with Abington Christian Fellowship. Katy hosts a weekly dinner and Bible study in her home, mentors students one-on-one, and helps them organize service projects and spring break trips. She was nominated for this award by the students, who wanted to show their appreciation to her for opening her home to them and genuinely caring about their lives.
The CCO is a campus ministry that partners with churches, colleges and organizations
to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life.
