Katie Black joins the CCO

(Pittsburgh) July 1, 2008 — Katie Black has joined the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) to reach out to students at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Katie graduated from Penn State Altoona in 2008 with a degree in elementary education.

“College students are at a point in their lives when they are struggling to find out who they are,” says Katie. “They are trying to decide what they believe, what they want to do with their lives, and what kind of a person they want to be. I want to help students understand that everything they have belongs to God, and I want them to see the world through the eyes of Jesus. I want them to live their lives and choose their careers in such a way that what they are doing will help change peoples’ lives all over the world.”

The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
