(Pittsburgh) July 15, 2008 — Lizz (Strasner) Heimann has joined the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) to reach out to students at Robert Morris University in partnership with the Charis247 Faith Community of Coraopolis.
Lizz graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh in May 2008 with a BFA in musical theater.
“I believe that college is one of the most influential and transformational times in a person’s life, a time when eyes and minds are opened to new worldviews, and when faith can—and should—play such an important role,” says Lizz. “Just as many in the CCO have poured into my life in this way, I am excited to have been called to the work of coming alongside college students to dialogue, mentor and support their exploration of how Jesus fits in, or better yet, how all things can fit into a life in Christ.”
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
