(Pittsburgh) July 16, 2008 — Brandon Hoover has joined the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) to reach out to students at Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania as Coordinator of the S.A.L.T. (Serving and Living Together) House on campus.
Brandon graduated from Eastern University in 2008 with a degree in theology.
“I am excited about the CCO because of their commitment to the forgotten age group of the church,” says Brandon. “It is unfortunate, because young adulthood is one of the most formative times in a person’s life. I joined the CCO because I believe that it is imperative that the Church take seriously these formative years, especially in this point in history. I am working at Messiah College because I have a passion for community living and intentional discussion, as well as for working with the marginalized of society, the urban poor.”
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
