(Pittsburgh) July 24, 2008 — Jonathan and Wendy Weyer have joined the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) to reach out to students at The Ohio State University.
Jonathan graduated from Covenant College in 1996 with a degree in history, and he earned his Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Seminary in 2001. Jonathan and his wife, Wendy, are raising two sons, Colin and Quinn. Wendy is joining the CCO as an associate staff member.
“I am working with the CCO because I think they are positioned to make an impact on how our culture will develop in the next 20 years by ministering to college students,” says Jonathan. “I hope to contribute to that mission by organizing the Worldview Cafe and eventually The St. Thomas House Christian Study Center.”
“My husband and I have always had a passion for college students,” adds Wendy, a 1998 graduate of the University of Missouri, St. Louis. “We love the relational aspect of ministry and truly believe that God uses relationships to transform His children. We are doing this as a family.”
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
