Dr. Anthony Cicone [1972-73] was among the first CCO workers, beginning his ministry to students at Ashland College and the College of Wooster in January 1972. After leaving staff, he graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1976 and was ordained to the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1980. Anthony earned his D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1990. He left the pastoral ministry in 1997 to start a business called Access Funding Center.
Anthony and his wife, Elsie, were married in 1998. “I didn’t want to rush into anything, so I waited until I was 48 to get married,” he says. Anthony and Elsie have adopted two daughters from China, and they are living in Laurens, South Carolina. You can reach Anthony at drcicone@backroads.net.
