CCO staff member weighs in on drinking age debate

Last week, a news story broke regarding a group of college presidents who have put their names to a request to the government calling for the drinking age to be lowered to 18 to help with the binge-drinking problem on campuses. CCO staff member Derek Melleby, who serves as Director of our College Transition Initiative in partnership with the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding, has entered the discussion and had a letter published in the August 25, 2008 issue of USA Today. Click here to read Derek’s letter, and feel free to join the discussion.
