(Pittsburgh) September 24, 2008 — Karen Johnson has joined the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) to serve as Outdoor Leadership Team Administrator.
Karen graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2007 with a degree in sociology.
“I’ve always wanted to work for the CCO and feel so grateful for the opportunity to contribute after all the benefit I have received as a product of the CCO ministries,” says Karen. “So many people from the CCO, especially within the Outdoor Leadership Team, have blown me away with their love of Jesus, the outdoors, and students. The life-changing experiences that come from placing students in the extraordinary settings of the wilderness can be nothing but God; but the ability to serve His purpose by intentionally seeking those spaces is awe-inspiring. The OLT is at an exciting place, and they really needed someone to step into an administrative position to help coalesce some of the details. I am thankful that I get to be that person.”
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
