“This year’s trip was probably the greatest experience in my collegiate career and possibly even my life so far. The interaction I had with those affected by the storm and the friendships I’ve made amount to something that is hard to explain. I now have this feeling that I can always do more and can always make a difference if I just lend a helping hand.” —Dustin Crew
“I’ve learned so much from one week there, probably more than what I learn in a semester of classes. It was a true experience. ” —David May
“Overall, I grew in the little time that we were in New Orleans. The people I went on the trip with taught me almost as much as the people for whom we worked. The trip showed me the determination of the human spirit and the presence of God in the lives of people, even in the face of a disaster. ” —Rebecca Williams
