Why Board member John Rosso supports the CCO
I choose to be involved with the CCO because I see and hear about the gap in many students’ lives—a gap that can only be filled by faith in Jesus Christ. As a parent of four, I am convinced that these young adults who are in college need to have access to a positive influence. The CCO has a positive effect on the community, the campus and most importantly, the individual. The message the CCO brings has the power to transform lives.
The CCO is a Christ-centered mission that is there for our college students at a most crucial time in their lives, a time when they are asking the “big” questions about life. It’s a time when they are exercising their new-found freedom, often without appropriate restraint, and a time when so many begin to move away from their Christian upbringing. The CCO is hands-on, personal and relevant.
