CCO staff worker and artist Yvonne Valenza will be featured in an art exhibition this summer at the Heitmann Atelier & Gallery in Lancaster, PA from June 5-July 25, 2009.
The invitation reads:
Heitmann Atelier & Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of a new group exhibition opening next Friday, June 5. After a substantial deliberation process, fourteen incredibly diverse and talented artists were selected to be included in the first Summer Invitational Exhibition at Heitmann Atelier & Gallery. The two month long exhibition features a selection of new work by local and regional artists. While each come from a similar geographic location, each have developed a unique voice through the work they produce.
The exhibition has a special blend of young contemporary artists who are creating art that is not only fresh but has a broad visual appeal. The work created by this talented group of artists varies from intriguing figurative work, to bizarre imaginative spaces, quiet visual insight of memories, and experimental techniques that combine several media.
Artists selected for this exhibition include:
Ken Hill, Eli Smith, Francine Fox, Brendan Loper, Michael Weaver, Andrew Small, Matthew Shelley, Elaina Posey, Jerri Castillo, Daniel J. Cook, Yvonne Valenza, Rachel Chambers, Carlie Leagjeld, Gloria Guardiola
Refreshments will be served Friday, June 5th from 5-9 pm.
The gallery is located at 104 W. Chestnut St. 2nd Floor, Lancaster, PA. For more information about this exhibition and Heitmann Atelier & Gallery please visit www.heitmannateliergallery.com.
