“Because of CCO and Ted, I regularly meet with mentors at work, not to discuss work per se, but to discuss the challenges we may face in a corporate environment as Christians,” says Richard Daugherty, a Kent State University graduate who now works in marketing at Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. “I see corporate America as a mission field. I take every moment I can to talk to people about their lives, about Christ and offer a different view.
“Corporate America needs the love, integrity, fellowship, and accountability that Christianity delivers. While there is certainly a time for sharing one’s faith verbally, the greatest testimony is our actions. I challenge myself to draw people to Christ through my attitude, heart and actions. Especially as we face tough economic times, everyone is looking for the love, support and reassurance that Christ offers.”
