How the CCO taught Debbie James to love ministry
“The CCO’s ministry has made a difference in everything about my life,” says Debbie (Smiley) James. “The way I think about work, the way I think about money, relationships, marriage, church, art, parenting, the way we eat—the way I think about every single thing in my life is because of what I learned through the CCO.”
Debbie teaches art part-time at Beaver County Christian School, and she leads a Bible study for twenty- and thirty-something women in the area. When she moved into her current neighborhood, she went door-to-door with flyers, inviting people to participate in a neighborhood Bible study. She credits the CCO with teaching her to love ministry, and to do ministry in a holistic way.
