How the CCO’s ministry changed Betty Mae Tatman’s life
“If you spend enough time with kids, you eventually meet with their parents. If you invest in youth, you connect with the entire family. That’s why youth ministry works really well as an outreach strategy for the church.”
Betty Mae Tatman is a pediatric nurse practitioner, but she talks like a youth minister. Both of these vocational passions have their roots in her experience as a University of Pittsburgh student involved in the CCO’s ministry. It was during her four years at Pitt that Betty Mae made crucial decisions that would change the trajectory of her life.
