According to Penn State New Ken students, Dave McGeary’s the best
Dave McGeary, CCO staff member at Penn State New Kensington, received the Outstanding Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award. Dave established the student organization GIG (Group Investigating God) when he joined the CCO and has since been the advisor.
Dave was nominated and selected for the award by student votes. Students clearly appreciate the work Dave is doing on campus and value the time he spends with them since this is the second time he won the award. In 2007, he was also chosen as Advisor of the Year.
“I’m honored and humbled by it,” says Dave. “The Lord is the reason.”
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
