Dorcas Bethel: CCO’s ministry was “like getting a second degree”
“Being a part of [CCO-sponsored] Allegheny Christian Outreach was like getting a second degree for me. It is also the ‘degree’ that I now use most often. I was challenged to think critically from a Christian perspective through all four years.”
Allegheny College graduate Dorcas Bethel currently serves as a Social Work Supervisor in the New York City area. “The CCO’s ministry was foundational in shaping my professional life,” says Dorcas. “The concept of ‘all of life redeemed’ means that I could not allow myself to be socialized professionally without considering how being in Christ impacts what I do and what I believe.
