(Pittsburgh) November 21, 2011—In September 2011, Clifton Holmes accepted the position as Director of Student Ministry with Unity Church of Jesus Christ, in partnership with the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) at Penn State University.
“I truly want to make a difference in the lives of others,” says Holmes. “Today’s college students are destined to be our next teachers, CEOs and world leaders. By being armed with the power of Jesus Christ, they can completely transform our world.”
Holmes has previously worked in a number of different positions, including assistant to the director at SCOUT CAMP Pro Football Regional Combines, State Grant and Special Programs Coordinator, and most recently, Academic Adviser at Penn State.
Holmes did his undergraduate work at Temple University, and he graduated from Penn State in 2006 with a master’s degree in telecommunications. He and his wife Annie have two children and reside in the State College area.
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
