(Pittsburgh) December 5, 2011—Allisa Linfield has joined the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) to reach out to college students as part of the Experiential Designs (XD) team. The CCO’s XD team offers students the opportunity to draw closer to each other and God through wilderness trips and other experiential opportunities.
Allisa graduated from the University of Wisconsin in the spring of 2011 with a degree in human development and family studies.
“I am excited about the CCO’s commitment to provide contextual ministry to college students,” says Allisa. “This allows me and my team to provide students with the opportunity to encounter our Creator in the outdoors. Because my life has been transformed through time spent in the wilderness, I am humbled that God would put me in the position to provide that experience to college students.”
Allisa and her husband, Cory, were married in May, and they now reside in the Pittsburgh area.
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
