(Pittsburgh) December 19, 2011—Lee Scott has recently been hired by the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) as the first-ever Director of Staff Services. The position has been created to enhance collaboration, advocacy, and communication for the CCO’s ministry on campus, as well as relationships between CCO leadership, support staff, campus staff and ministry partners.
“This position gives me the duty and blessing of serving others,” says Lee. “The challenges and potential of this position are exciting and offer a unique opportunity well-suited to my vocational calling, education, and experience.”
Lee joins the CCO with an undergraduate degree from Westminster College, and he recently earned a Master’s in Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a Master’s of Science in Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
Prior to working for the CCO, Lee worked for ThirdRiver Partners LLC, a leadership and management consulting firm. He is currently involved with various boards and councils in the Pittsburgh area, including the Garfield Community Farm Advisory Board, Public Allies, the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council, and the Westminster College Alumni Council.
The CCO is a campus ministry organization which partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. The CCO’s core purpose is “transforming college students to transform the world.”
