“Jessi was already pretty sure about who she was when we met, and that’s one of the things I’ve always admired about her,” says CCO associate staff member Anthony Jones. “She’s not concerned with being defined or letting her identity be formed by somebody else. She was kind of shy, though, and typically only chatted with her roommate at Focus meetings. She really wasn’t engaging others around her.”
Jessi Dinan, a biomedical engineering major, first connected to the CCO’s ministry during the first week of her freshman year at the University of Cincinnati. She showed up at the Welcome Week activity and has been involved in the ministry ever since.
