You are warmly invited to hear Bill Romanowski speak on faith and the film industry. The CCO is delighted to launch the Hearts & Minds Summer Lecture* on Wednesday, July 18. Dr. William D. Romanowski will speak at Robert Morris University on his new book, Reforming Hollywood: How American Protestants Fought for Freedom at the Movies.
Please join us at 7:00 p.m. in the International Suite in the Sewall Center at Robert Morris University (Moon Township). We will celebrate Bill’s book launch with a reception and book signing following his talk.
William Romanowski is an award-winning commentator on the intersection of religion and popular culture. He teaches at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to teaching, he worked for the CCO and had a traveling one-man “history of rock and roll” concert. His most recently released book, Reforming Hollywood, has been called “his most revealing, provocative, and groundbreaking work on this vital area of American society.”
*Underwritten by Byron and Beth Borger, this new annual lecture will be an opportunity for CCO staff, alumni, and friends to hear some of the freshest thinking today about the intersection of faith, culture, and the workplace.
