Featured Student of the Week: Carley Padgett
Robert Morris University 2014, nursing major
Carley Padgett had an epiphany when she attended the Jubilee conference as a Robert Morris University freshman. Before the conference, she was looking to the future and her goal of becoming a nurse and going to serve as a missionary in Africa. But Jubilee helped her understand that God has a plan for her right now, while she is in college, which includes ministering to her peers.
Carley grew up going to church and attending Christian schools. She got involved in the CCO’s ministry early during her time at Robert Morris, and when she found out about the CCO’s Ocean City Beach Project, she sought out CCO staff member Lizz Heimann to find out how she might participate.
