Jared Cave to serve students in Williamsport, PA
Jared Cave has joined the CCO to reach out to students at Lycoming College and the Pennsylvania College of Technology through a partnership with Covenant-Central Presbyterian Church, where he serves as Director of Outreach.
Jared graduated from Gordon College in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry. Prior to joining the CCO, Jared worked as an Outdoor Adventure Facilitator and a Mental Health Counselor at Gordon College. Jared now seeks to make a difference in the lives of college students.
“Since my own college experience, I have truly enjoyed the community that can happen on college campuses,” says Jared. “Having shared classes with people who are now serving God in many different roles, I knew then that the college age was one I cared for deeply and wanted to serve in the future.
“God has opened the doors in my life to serve in an amazing way with the CCO. I am eager and excited to see how God will work in and through me to students’ lives. I hope to simply point students to Christ and see how God will change their lives.”
Jared and his wife, Sarah, enjoy sports and outdoor recreational activities.
