Michael Thornhill to reach Point Park University students
Michael Thornhill has joined the CCO to reach out to students at Point Park University through a partnership with New City Church.
A graduate of Slippery Rock University, Michael has served in a number of positions before and during college, including Resident Assistant, Admissions Department Assistant, Senior Counselor at Camp Allegheny, Farmhand, Tour Guide, Mascot, and Salsa Instructor.
Michael will be joining New City Church as an assistant pastor and looks forward to the opportunity to reach college students.
“I want to give room for students to see themselves through the Father’s eyes; to encourage them to see where faith and their passions intersect while finding God with them at each cross point,” says Michael. “I am energized by people so the more the merrier! I am excited to find my niche in the CCO and see where, when, and how God plans to show up and show off during my time with the CCO ministry.”
Michael spent the first 17 years of his life in Broward County, Florida, before moving to western Pennsylvania. He has a twin brother and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
