Rev. Tom Nelson is author of Work Matters: Connecting Sunday Worship to Monday Work (Crossway 2011) and senior pastor of Christ Community Church in Leawood, Kansas for more than twenty years. He will join Dr. Steve Garber, Founder and Principal of The Washington Institute and author of The Fabric of Faithfulness: Weaving Together Belief and Behavior (IVP, 1996) to discuss the idea that vocation is integral, not incidental, to the mission of God in the world. We will also discuss practical ways the local church can better engage parishioners in connecting worship to work.
Pastors, you are encouraged to invite a parishioner from your congregation to attend with you. Seminary faculty, why not bring a student?
RSVP to Jenn Rick at jrick {at} ccojubilee(.)org or via the Facebook event page by October 22.
If you have questions, please call Jenn Rick 412-363-3303 x106.
