Why Diana Timmons chooses to build up the CCO in Ohio

(Pittsburgh) August 27, 2013 — Diana Timmons joined the CCO in February 2013 to serve as Ohio Development Coordinator.

She is a graduate of Mercer University in Atlanta, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in Human Resource Administration. Diana most recently served as Executive Director of the Pregnancy Resource Center in Springfield, Ohio, and her background equips her to share the vision of reaching college students for Christ.

Diana is excited to help raise money to further the CCO’s mission of transforming college students to transform the world in her home state of Ohio.

“I have a God-given passion for young people, to see them grow spiritually and integrate their faith into their everyday lives,” she says. “In my short tenure here, I have witnessed the change that takes place in college student’s thinking when they adopt a biblical worldview and realize that God wants to be a part of every area of their lives. This motivates me to share the CCO’s vision for transformation with supporters, so more young people can be reached for Christ.”

Diana and her husband, Brad, have four sons, two of whom are currently college students. They have been active members of First Presbyterian Church of S. Charleston for over twenty years, and Diana is currently serving as Elder of Worship.

The CCO is an organization committed to transforming college students to transform the world. They accomplish this by partnering with churches, colleges, and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. Currently, 225 CCO staff members are reaching out to students on 104 college campuses.
