Dave Bindewald is the Partnership Coordinator for Southwest Pennsylvania, including the greater Pittsburgh area. His job is to maintain and develop positions with churches, colleges and other organizations through which our staff people might reach out to college students.
Dave first came to understand the fullness of the Gospel and the delight of a solid biblical worldview while he was an undergraduate student at Geneva College. He has a heart for introducing students to Jesus for the first time as well as for nurturing believing students in the depths of Christian wisdom and God’s redemption. Dave began serving students fulltime at Carnegie Mellon University in 2007, although he and his wife, Erin, have been with the CCO since 2001. Erin worked for the CCO in the office for five years organizing the Jubilee conference and Staff Seminars while Dave volunteered in any way he could.
“I need no convincing of the importance of ministry to college students,” Dave says. “I loved working with the world- and culture- changers at CMU.”
Dave loves baseball, history, play, rock n’ roll, and the 3-4 defense. Dave and Erin have three daughters and live in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh. They worship at Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
Everybody on staff at the CCO raises their own financial support, including our partnership coordinators. You can support Dave or anybody else on our area leadership team by contributing online.
