Heather Strong is the Partnership Coordinator for Northwest Pennsylvania, maintaining and developing positions with churches, colleges and other organizations through which our staff people might reach out to college students. Heather also ministers to students at Slippery Rock University.
Heather is a graduate of Messiah College, and more recently, of Slippery Rock University, where she recently earned her master’s degree in counseling. She first joined CCO staff in 2008 to minister to students at Slippery Rock in partnership with Grace Anglican Church.
Heather enjoyed the years she served as an arm of a local church congregation in outreach to college students.
“College is a crucial time when young people decide on the path they want to follow for the rest of their lives,” says Heather. “I have had the privilege of walking alongside students as they seek to be the people God is calling them to be.”
Heather is excited about helping to facilitate more healthy partnerships between the CCO and churches, colleges and organizations who share a desire to transform college students to transform the world.
Everybody on staff at the CCO raises their own financial support, including our partnership coordinators. You can support Heather or anybody else on our area leadership team by contributing online.
