Whether introducing a student to Christ for the first time, supporting a believer’s efforts to strengthen their walk, or just helping them to remain connected to the Church, the mission of transforming college students to transform the world is critical. I’m involved with CCO because I believe this organization is uniquely positioned to execute its mission.
The CCO promotes partnerships between colleges, local churches, on-campus staff and supporting staff. Its leadership understands the importance of involving all key stakeholders to ensure commitment. Furthermore, they understand the importance of training and process, which help to prepare the on-campus staff and provide the conditions for success. The bottom line is that we see this as an incredibly capable organization carrying out a very important mission.
