CCO Executive Leaders

buckleym.jpgMary Buckley came on board with the CCO in January 2007 as our Vice President of Multiethnic Ministry. An ordained Baptist minister, the Rev. Dr. Mary L. Buckley brings a wealth of educational and professional ministry experience to this position. She was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and she has spent much of her adult life in Pittsburgh.

Before joining the CCO, Mary served as Executive Director of the Mt. Ararat Community Center, affiliated with Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Pittsburgh’s East End. Her educational and professional experience ranges from journalism to library science to ministry; she earned both her master of divinity and doctor of ministry degrees from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Pittsburgh Habitat for Humanity.

Mary has extensive experience in leading groups of people to accomplish seemingly unattainable goals, and she has always been involved in the lives of young people. “It is a privilege to work with and mentor young people,” she says. “I love the Lord, I love young people, and I think it is so important that they nurture their relationship with Christ during their college years.”

Mary lives in the East End of Pittsburgh and continues to worship and serve at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church.

Mary can be reached at mbuckley@ccojubilee.org.

Everybody on staff at the CCO raises their own financial support, including the executive team. You can support Mary or anybody else on our executive staff by contributing online.
