Nicole Shirk serves as Vice President of the Central Region, overseeing our ministry in central and western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.
Nicole has known about the CCO all her life, since her parents were among the CCO’s earliest campus workers at the University of Pittsburgh. She attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina, and she returned to Pittsburgh with a few friends every February for the Jubilee conference.
After graduating from Wake Forest, Nicole joined CCO staff in 2002 to minister to student athletes at Carnegie Mellon University in partnership with Shadyside Presbyterian Church, and she also served as Area Director for the Greater Pittsburgh Area until June 2009.
Nicole strongly believes in the CCO’s mission of transforming college students to transform the world. “If we succeed by the grace of God in fulfilling our core purpose, it will make all the difference,” Nicole says. “Seeing lives and the world changed is an amazing gift.”
Nicole and her husband, Terry, live in the Morningside neighborhood of Pittsburgh with their sons, Caleb and Logan, and they worship at Church of the Ascension.
Nicole can be reached at nshirk@ccojubilee.org.
Everybody on staff at the CCO raises their own financial support, including the executive team. You can support Nicole or anybody else on our executive team by contributing online.
