CCO staff member Emily Garrity reaches out to Marietta College students in partnership with First Baptist Church of Marietta, where she works as Children and College Minister.
Emily encourages Marietta College students to join in worship and service at First Baptist Church of Marietta, so that they can be growing in ministry skills. The church offers an adopt-a-student program and a congregation member/student Bible study.
Emily also spends time with student leaders, equipping them to do ministry well on campus. She advises a fellowship group on campus as well as a gathering where students can come to ask questions about Christianity and talk about fundamental issues of the faith. She also leads a discipleship group for young women.
