CCO staff members Sean Brakey and Emily Garrity reach out to Marietta College students in partnership with First Baptist Church of Marietta, where Sean serves as Youth and Young Adult Minister, and Emily works as Children’s Ministry Director.
As an assistant basketball coach at the Marietta College, Sean recently led a book study on Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller with the basketball team during winter break. Sean leads a Bible study for athletes on campus every Monday evening at 8 p.m., and he also leads a Bible study at the church for college students during the Sunday school hour. Sean and Emily both encourage Marietta College students to join them in worship and service at First Baptist Church of Marietta, so that they can be growing in ministry skills.
