CCO Campus Ministry

Ministry at Penn State is multi-faceted. Although we are a CCO team, we also have very unique roles on campus.

Two staff, Bill and Barb Saxton, are dedicated to working with international students through the Friday evening International Christian Fellowship gatherings and the International Ministries at Penn State outreach program. They will be joined this fall by Walt and Sue Johnston.

Stephanie Wessel works with students with an outdoor leadership and discipleship group called Crux Adventures, which meets on Wednesday nights from 8-10pm on campus.

Erica Young Reitz works cooperatively with a local church as a campus connection, Will Gigante devotes most of his time to outreach, especially among student athletes, and Steve Lutz works through the Missio Dei ministry.

Erik Wessel serves as an associate staff worker, volunteering his time where needed.

We each play unique parts to accomplish the goals of the CCO to transform college students to transform the world. With this broad approach, we are able to use our gifts to hopefully make a greater impact on a larger number of diverse students. We pray that God uses us to bring his Kingdom—in its fullness and diversity—to the Penn State University Park campus.
