CCO staff member Katherine Sikma and associate staff members Hannah Jantsch and Joshua McKinley lead the CCO ministry at Point Park University.

The Body Christian Fellowship is a recognized student activities group at Point Park, and we meet Monday evenings at 9:15pm in Lawrence 504. You can find out more about us by checking out our Facebook group.

The Body’s mission is “to actively invite students to grow in their relationship with Christ and others, know God’s word, and equip them for life.” We seek to do this by offering both large and small-group meetings for students to get together to talk about issues of faith, ask questions, study the Bible together, and worship through song. We also seek to provide opportunities for students to serve their community and school through various service projects throughout the year, and we provide lots of fun activities to help cultivate friendships and community.

Some past activities have included:

  • a church “tour” to help students get plugged in with a local church body
  • a labor day picnic in the park
  • A service day with the Pittsburgh Project doing home repair for a local family
  • Creative for the Creator—a showcase performance by students to celebrate their artistic gifts (dance, acting, singing, photography, painting, and film) as from the Lord, for the Lord. Now an annual event!
  • Christmas Caroling together on Pittsburgh’s Light-up Night

Opportunities to grow are tremendous, to engage students and the university as a whole with the love of Christ.
