The CCO’s ministry at Shippensburg University comes alongside a completely student-led organization called Christian Fellowship (CF) that meets on Thursday nights. It is through CF that CCO staff members Phil Schiavoni and Scott Evans mentor students one-on-one, advertise CCO events like Jubilee, and occasionally speak. Christian Fellowship also sponsors weekend retreats throughout the school year.
Phil and Scott also lead Bible studies and Sunday school classes. Phil works at Shippensburg First Church of God and Scott partners with Shippensburg Presbyterian Church. Ministry also happens through pick-up games of volleyball, football, softball, and a myriad of backyard games.
Both Phil and Scott can often be found on campus, especially in the coffee house in the CUB called Ritazza’s. This is a great place to grab some coffee or a smoothie and just sit down and talk. You can find Phil and Scott at Christian Fellowship on Thursday nights at 9pm on the second floor of the CUB.
