CCO staff worker Michael Barnhart ministers to students at the University of Findlay in partnership with Gateway Church. Although there are many opportunities for students to get plugged in throughout the year, Mike’s goal is help students get connected in three specific ways:
- Bible Study: Our current Bible study gathers on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Campus Ministry House (1130 N. Main St.) at the University of Findlay.
- Life Coach: We desire to connect every student with a “Life Coach.” A Life Coach is a person who helps students develop a Christian worldview with which to live. Life Coaches regularly meet with students to talk about academics, society, purpose, and how Christ is in every area of life. This is a new aspect to the ministry in Findlay.
- Local Church: We pray that every student would get connected and actively involved in a healthy local church. I am partnering with Gateway Church to see this happen. Gateway has Sunday morning worship services at 8:45, 10:05, and 11:25. College students are welcome to worship and serve at Gateway.
