The CCO’s Commitment to Ohio
Did you know that there are 178 colleges and universities with over a half a million students in Ohio? Ohio has 9 major cities, in which you will find most of the larger state schools.
Ohio is home to the second largest university in the US, The Ohio State University, which has a student population of about 50,000 undergraduate and graduate students!
Ohio is home to two of our nations Historically Black Universities, Central State and Wilberforce University. Presently, there are no CCO staff serving on these campuses.
The CCO is on 10 campuses in Ohio. We want to reach more of these students.
Our Goals
To develop strong leaders as students graduate and are called to kingdom work throughout the world.
To be a transformative presence at both of Ohio’s Historically Black Universities.
To partner with local churches at each of Ohio’s thirteen state universities.
For CCO ministries to be a catalyst for Gospel transformation in their communities.
