The CCO’s Commitment to Greater Pittsburgh
Did you know that Carnegie Mellon University, located in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, attracts students from all 50 United States and 93 nations, and is affiliated with 15 Nobel Laureates, nine Turing Award recipients, seven Emmy Award recipients, three Academy Award recipients and four Tony Award recipients, among other prestigious award recipients? Five CCO campus staff workers serve these students.
Did you know that La Roche College, which boasts an undergraduate population of 1,812 students, draws men and women from 28 countries and 22 states? Three CCO campus staff workers serve these students.
There are more than 40 institutions of higher learning in the three-county Greater Pittsburgh area. Students at these schools are preparing today to be the leaders of tomorrow. These men and women will someday hold positions of influence in this community and around the world.
The CCO currently has 33 full-time, part-time and associate staff serving on 11 different campuses in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. The CCO is working with local churches, colleges and organizations to develop these aspiring leaders to live out their Christian faith in all areas of life.
