I am living in North Carolina working in an Educational Reform Program. I am married and have a wonderful 8-month-old daughter named Sara Elizabeth. Matthew Lococo (Robert Morris University, BA 2004, MS 2005)
While at Malone College, on several occasions I attended the Jubilee conferences in Pittsburgh. I thoroughly enjoyed the keynote speakers, workshop presenters, and the overall fellowship and worship that took place. God had begun to do a deep work in me while in college. The conferences helped encourage and challenge me to think biblically. Even more [...]
I graduated from Western Theological Seminary with my MDiv this past May. In June I got married to Eric Barnes. And in July, we moved to Princeton where Eric is in his final year of seminary. A summer of change! It’s fun to be back east and closer to current and past CCO staffers and [...]
Dr. Anthony Cicone [1972-73] was among the first CCO workers, beginning his ministry to students at Ashland College and the College of Wooster in January 1972. After leaving staff, he graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1976 and was ordained to the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1980. Anthony earned his D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary [...]
I went to the Ocean City Beach Project (OCBP) in the summer of 2001, the summer before my junior year. My life has never been the same since that time. I could not have had a more wonderful and formative experience.
I have been living in Bellingham, Washington for three years now. It’s very green? Recently I self-published my first children’s book, called Simone Goes to the Market: A Children’s Book of Colors Connecting Face and Food.
My husband, Glenn Griffin, and I are living in Uniontown, Ohio, and I am currently serving Mount Union College as an Assistant Professor of Religion. I have just signed a contract with Wipf & Stock publishers to have my dissertation published in the coming months.
I’m on the verge of completing my Master’s of Fine Arts in sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I recently curated an exhibition in Chicago investigating the dynamics at play at the intersection of religion and contemporary art. Our family (wife Karen and three-year-old daughter Anna) has decided to stay in Chicago, and Karen is intending on returning to dancing full-time.
Since we moved to New England some friends from Philadelphia and Denver have called us “traitors.” Others have called us names that can’t be shared in a Christmas newsletter. Though we remain unapologetic Phillies and Eagles fans, it’s kind of nice to live in a part of the country where the major sports teams actually [...]
Three years ago when my youngest child entered Kindergarten, I decided to write about the Beach Project for the CCO website. Praise from Amy Maczuzak and Byron Borger went straight to my head! In short, I’ve not stopped writing since then, and each step further gets more amazing. I just started a Master of Fine [...]
