“The CCO taught me that I cannot separate my faith from any single thing I do, from deciding what church to attend, how to approach my work, how to spend our money, how to be a spouse and eventually a parent. The CCO changed the way I did and thought about so many things, and I feel strongly called to continue to do that kind of ministry, wherever I am.”

“I don’t think I would be the person I am now if it weren’t for the CCO. There’s a chance that someone else in my life would have helped me reconcile the things I love with my love of God, but I often think I would have just continued to see those things as separate, understanding only a small portion of the big beautiful gospel I’m learning more about each day.”

“I first attended Jubilee in 2007, and that was the year that really changed my life. I had been a Christian for years, but I had not had an active relationship with Christ. Going to Jubilee was most definitely the single act that brought me back to Christ and will always remind me that, just when I think I’m too far away, he is there and will pull me back to him.”

“The CCO’s ministry helped me figure out my faith. In high school, I believed what I believed because of the way I was raised. In college, I was exposed to many more perspectives. I was able to make my faith my own, and the CCO played a big part in that.”

“The Jubilee conference helped me gain a much clearer perspective of how we, as followers of Jesus, are to make the Kingdom of God relevant in our world. I was challenged to make that Kingdom Jesus taught about a reality in the 21st century.”

“If the CCO weren’t a piece of my college career, I think that it would have been exponentially more difficult to embrace my gifts as an artist while remaining faithful to Christ. I more than likely would have given up art, with a lot of heartache, believing it to be a ?lesser’ calling than ministry or doing some other type of work.”

“I’m involved in my church today because I was involved in CCO ministry when I was in college. My faith has supported me through some difficult times the last few years and has given me hope that the world is progressing despite some of the difficulties I’ve seen.”

“The CCO’s ministry shaped who I am today. The way I do ministry is shaped by my experience as a student. Not only were CCO staff people talking about the idea of transformation, but I watched them live it out in their lives. That was much more powerful and intriguing than just going to a program where they’re teaching about these things.”

“I became a Christian in 1991 through the CCO ministry at Bellefield Church. That is where I started my walk with Christ. The CCO’s ministry grounded me with a strong foundation built on the idea that ?all of life is redeemed.’”

“A CCO campus minister chose to invest time and love into me, which has taught me how to become a leader and reach out and do the same with others who are lost, broken, or confused about God and Christianity. My faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior defines my life, my outlook, and my relationships with others.”
