CCO XD offer custom designed trips to many regions of France. Popular activities include trekking, cycling, sea kayaking, and historic and culinary tourism. This summer CCO XD will offer the following trip:
Hike with Me: A Women’s Trek around the Mont Blanc
Straddling the borders of France, Italy and Switzerland, the Mont Blanc massif offers some of the most outstanding mountain scenery on earth. The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 105-mile journey through the snow-peaked mountains of the Alps. With a total elevation gain and loss of 32,000 feet, the trail passes through 11 valleys and mountain passes in three countries: France, Switzerland and Italy. Check out our photo gallery from some of our other trips to this area.
Join Jennifer Luitwieler, author of Run with Me: An Accidental Runner and the Power of Poo, as we travel a selection of the more scenic sections of this route. You will hike a world-renowned trail through the Alps and be guided through the kind of physical and spiritual journey Jennifer described so well in her book.

About Jennifer Luitwieler
Jennifer Luitwieler wrangles The Dog, 2 cats and 3 perfect angels who adore her and find her to be the best homeschool teacher ever in the universe. When she is not filling their spongelike brains with limitless knowledge, she wrangles ideas into sentences with an imaginary golden lasso. (Of course it’s imaginary. No one has a real golden lasso.) She writes on crafts and sports in monthly columns. Her first book, “Run With Me: An Accidental Runner and the Power of the Poo,” was released in 2011. She and her husband of 17 years call Tulsa home, but she will always love her hometown of Pittsburgh.
