The opportunity to more fully pursue established goals and issues at the greatest possible depth is created.
This is the level of programs that provides tremendous adventure opportunity. The packs are heavier, the trails longer, the commitment more demanding, but the rewards are higher. Putting together an experience of this magnitude is a major undertaking requiring many months of planning. The extended travel and preparation are important components of the overall experience. In-depth skill training also plays a bigger role, providing the participants an opportunity to develop confidence in wilderness living and adventure activities.
