Why Crossings?
You are about to finish school or have already graduated and are trying to figure out life after college. Maybe you know exactly what you will be doing a few months from now or maybe you have no idea at all. No matter which of those categories you fit into, this trip is designed for you!
Crossings is a unique trip with a unique purpose.
When you enter a time of transition, you have to constantly make decisions about how you want to live and what you want your life to be about. Usually one of two things can happen in your relationship with God – you can either learn to see Him more clearly or lose sight of Him altogether. We want you to be able to see God more clearly and to not only make it through this transition, but flourish during it!
Paddling in the Florida Everglades is a perfect learning environment for the theme of Crossings.
On Crossings, you will go to the Everglades and learn how to navigate, understand the waves and weather patterns, and use good judgment in decision-making. As you learn how to flourish in the environment of the sea by obeying the rules God created to control it, you will ask the questions, “What would it look like to live in obedience to the rules God created to control the rest of the world? How can I learn to flourish in my relationships, vocation, and with my money?”
