Donating to the CCO does not have to be something that occurs only in the present. Planned gifts—donations that are received by the CCO at a future date—can result in tax benefits, and even sources of income to the donor during their lifetime. Planned giving takes many forms: wills, trusts, life insurance policies, and it can even include real estate or securities.
