The Pilgrimage
For centuries, Christians have walked a path together, discovering a powerful space for God’s voice. The Alpine Pilgrimage is an opportunity to take a break from the harried routine of life, to reflect on where you have come from, and to listen to God for the next stage of your journey.

Dan Dupee, President of the CCO, invites you to experience for yourself what thousands of young people have discovered in the wilderness: the beauty of Creation, the joy of community, and the presence of God. We will spend June 18-27, 2012 traveling along one of the world’s classic mountain treks: the circumnavigation of Europe’s highest peak, Mont Blanc.

The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 105-mile journey through the snow-peaked mountains of the Alps. With a total elevation gain and loss of 32,000 feet, the trail passes through 11 valleys and mountain passes in three countries: France, Switzerland and Italy. We will travel a selection of the more scenic sections of this route, sometimes called the Petit Tour. You will hike a world-renowned trail through the Alps and be guided through a physical and spiritual journey by two experts trained in adventure education from a Christian perspective.
