CCO Campus Ministry

About the CCO
The CCO is a campus ministry that partners with churches, colleges and other organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in all areas of life. Our ministry is distinct in three ways:

1. Our ministry is transformational. We challenge the students we serve to submit every area of their lives to Jesus Christ.
2. We partner with churches, colleges and other organizations, placing our staff in strategic positions of influence on campus. Some of our staff people serve as an arm of the local church on campus, while others work as residence hall directors, coaches or volunteer service coordinators .
3. We do contextual ministry, meaning that our staff people adjust to the needs of the particular campus at which they serve. No two CCO ministries look exactly alike.

Quick Facts:

• The CCO was founded in 1971 with four staff people on three campuses. Currently the CCO has 179 staff on 83 campuses in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.
• The CCO has been recognized as the Best Christian Place to Work for five consecutive years.
• The CCO hosts the Jubilee conference each year in downtown Pittsburgh. Jubilee draws together thousands of students every February and casts a vision for students to live out their Christian faith in every area of life.
• Over quarter of a million students have been touched by the CCO’s ministry.
• We are currently partnering with 66 local churches, colleges and organizations.
